Claire was born and raised on the Peninsula, growing up in Los Altos and has been a resident of Menlo Park since 2015 where she lives with her husband, new son and three dogs. She attended local schools in Los Altos and Belmont before studying business at San Francisco State.
Coming from a long line of real estate moguls, she began her real estate career in 2008 working at Cashin Company in Palo Alto for her late father John Lazar. She partnered with her mother Ginna for 9 years successfully assisting buyers, sellers, and renters before deciding in 2016 to get her license and opening their boutique brokerage Lazar Homes.
Claire believes in always doing the right thing and lives by her family's long time motto "client before commission", always. Helping people find the home of their dreams thru a smooth and stress free transaction is of the utmost importance. A lifetime cowgirl, Claire knows how to 'git-er done'. Thru the art of tough negotiation combined with effortless grace in difficult situations, Claire is committed to doing what it takes to achieve the best outcome for her clients. Catering to her clients individual needs experiences, Claire manages every part of the process far beyond the close – in any transaction, whether renting, buying or selling.
Claire is a dedicated philanthropist and active member of the local community in addition to educational non-profits and parent groups. She spends her spare time doing anything outdoors with her growing family.
